To nobody’s surprise Highguard shuts down after weeks of existence.

Yet another multiplayer shooter, Highguard, planned for at least a year of further content development (if you can take developer’s word for it), shuts down completely after just about 6 weeks since the premiere. So... it is about one year spent on development for each week of the game existence.
What was Highguard? It does not really matter any more, on March 12th it will be gone anyway. Let’s just say it was met with lukewarm reactions from the users and reviewers, the playerbase dwindled within literally days (drop of about 90% in the first week is a remarkable achievement).
According to the developer, over 2 million people have tried the game, but on the other hand the same developer was quoted saying that "(...) whether it gets a thousand people or a hundred million people, it doesn’t matter (...)", so... you need to take his words with a barrel of salt.
On the other hand, according to some sources, Chinese company Tencent was secretly financing the project for past two years (which the developer forgot to mention). This means that Tencent must have lost some decent money on the whole thing, so it’s not all bad news.

It is... a... sort-of... news... I guess
CD Projekt Red announced that they work on Witcher 4! And... that’s about it. No, I forgot, we now know the title! And that is really it.
Before you drop the I word
Or rather the IGMMOIG word. I know, it’s not really a word, it’s acronym, but "I’m Gonna Make My Own Indie Game" is such a long thing to say. Yes, each week, each month, perhaps even each day someone drops that word. Fine, acronym.
The curious case of PhlyDaily
The curious case of PhlyDaily, or how to sink your youtube channel for a... reasonably good reason. But in unreasonably silly way.
Why Stalker 2 will most likely fail
We just gained some details of the upcoming Stalker 2 (or rather S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2) game, but it is scarce info to be honest. And that makes me fear it will be a failure on premiere. Here is why...
The curious case of LanG Wall
This curious case is slightly different from previous ones - this time it is not a story of misguided decisions or strange perseverance... Although it might be, because this case is really, really curious.
