Former Overwatch game director, Jeff Kaplan, who left Blizzard Entertainment in 2021, recently, while promoting his upcoming game, just dropped a... not fully unexpected bomb about his former employer.

According to Kaplan, the reason behind him leaving out of the sudden in 2021 was the ultimatum that he was given by the CFO of Blizzard Activision. Let’s call this CFO John Smith. Or John Doe. Or Dennis Durkin, for example. What was the ultimatum? If Overwatch will not start generating x amount of money each year, the company will lay off a thousand developers each time.
Is it me or does it sound like a psychopath in making? Well, Dennis Durkin, or John Smith, went even further and reassured Kaplan that he personally will be responsible for those lay-offs. Yeah, sounds like a great idea to motivate people, Dennis Durkin. And even better to improve the product by reducing the number of people that can work on it, Dennis Durkin.
And, Dennis Durkin, actually reaches his goal, Kaplan decided to leave the company and start his own business. What happened to the idiot, Dennis Durkin? Dennis Durkin, left Activision Blizzard about a month after Kaplan. What a Dennis Durkin...
You might wonder what pushed that idiot to give such a brainless ultimatum to Kaplan, and the answer is quite obvious - Activision Blizzard is a bag of executives. The higher-ups of the company were so delusional about Overwatch that they found schmucks with a lot of money (investors) who were gullible enough to believe that esports around Overwatch is gonna be bigger than NFL. Spoiler alert: it never happened.
So, who the Dennis Durkins of the world started to blame for this failure? The developers, of course. And Jeff Kaplan, of course. I mean, they could not present themselves as the idiots in this story, where would it end? They would have to take responsibility for their own actions, and that is not what Dennis Durkins of the world are capable of.
Well, good for Jeff Kaplan to leave the toxic company of Dennis Durkin and starting his own project. I guess we all need Dennis Durkin in our lives to make us realise there are better things we can do with our lives.

Why Stalker 2 will most likely fail
We just gained some details of the upcoming Stalker 2 (or rather S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2) game, but it is scarce info to be honest. And that makes me fear it will be a failure on premiere. Here is why...
DrDelusional is back
DrDelusional is back on YouTube, this time he is more delusional than ever. Years after being kicked out of Twitch, then being exposed for messaging a minor, then confirming this was the reason he was kicked out, now he is back with a different story to tell.
New Fallout game is coming!
It is coming in about 12 to 15 years to be exact. After recent presentation of Starfield gameplay Todd Howard confirmed that Fallout is the basic DNA of Bethesda, so of course there will be next title.
The end is near?
Abermore, one of the dozens, if not hundreds, of titles that premiered in recent days on Steam made me think that the end of an era is near. Yes, you guessed it, Abermore is a steaming pile of garbage. To be fair it is not the only one and not the worst one that I have seen recently.
