EA is still the king

For decades now EA was the icon of a company that does not care about anyone or anything. And now, after a success of Battlefield 6, they has proven they can be even worse than you could expect.

EA is still the king

Battlefield 6 premiered in October 2025, it gathered decent reviews, the number of copies was high (over 7 million within 3 days), on premiere it had over 700,000 concurrent players on Steam. Soon it proved to be the bestselling game of 2025, with over 20 million copies sold, so what EA just did?

Yes, you have guessed it, they started to lay off the employees from studios involved in creation of Battlefield. I mean, what else could they have done? The game generated 1.5 billion dollars in revenue, they have to cut some costs somewhere to cover this... Wait, what? No, it does not really make sense. Oh, yeah, we are talking about EA, voted Worst Company in America twice in the past, it does make sense.

This news, as baffling as it may be, raises few interesting questions. First of all, why people still buying their games? Clearly, 20 million people never heard or just don’t care how shitty employer EA is. Or how little they care about the users, but that is a completely different story.

The second interesting question is, why people still want to work for EA? I can’t remember how many times I have read about yet another studio being sold to EA. Haven’t they heard how it usually ends up badly? Or they just don’t care.

And the last question is, why anyone would be surprised that EA has done something like that? All they want is money, their customers don’t care how bad company they are, their employees (for the moment) don’t care how bad company they are, EA is generating income, so... Move along, nothing to see here.

Thank god they did not turn evil

You might think that big corporations like Apple, Amazon, Google and Microsoft don’t care about people, but that is not true. They do care, but only about very few people, mostly those in charge. Oh yeah, and they finance fascism.

Bethesda has done it again

Bethesda has done it again, and no one is surprised. Yes, they shot themselves in the foot and soon they will run out of feet to sacrifice. This time it was the Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition.

Wargaming is leaving Russia and Belarus

Wargaming.net, a company behind World of Tanks and World of Warships (also World of Warplanes, but realistically who cares?) is apparently leaving Russia and Belarus.

The pathetic drama returns

No, it’s not title to sequel for adventures of not greatest superhero called Pathetic Drama... which is not bad idea actually. Nope, it’s the Bayonetta 3 pathetic drama that just wouldn’t die.

DrDelusional is back

DrDelusional is back on YouTube, this time he is more delusional than ever. Years after being kicked out of Twitch, then being exposed for messaging a minor, then confirming this was the reason he was kicked out, now he is back with a different story to tell.

Why Stalker 2 will most likely fail

We just gained some details of the upcoming Stalker 2 (or rather S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2) game, but it is scarce info to be honest. And that makes me fear it will be a failure on premiere. Here is why...

Steam is sinking

Steam is sinking

Steam has made some poor choices in the past, and it seems like they are coming back to bite them on the backside. And it is not even funny any more.

2023, the year of the brainless?

2023, the year of the brainless?

We are just 3 days into the new year and already you can look with nostalgia on good old 2022, when things were simpler. No, I’m not talking about war in Ukraine, possible war over Taiwan, possible ...
