When you thought that the moment Ubisoft’s shares reached the rock bottom was bad, or the moment they had to sell all of their most valuable assets to the new investors was bad, no one could predict they can sink any lower, right? Well, there was some development in that matter...

Of course, you heard already about the massive breach in Rainbow Six Siege, which gave the hackers chance not only to give users a lot of rare items to play with, but also the internal currency was flowing out like there is no tomorrow.
Of course, Ubisoft was quick to reverse the transactions and restore the order... for a few days, until another breach happened. But still, that was not the worst thing that happened to them in the early 2026. In Ubisoft Halifax studio in their North America branch, 71 employees have unionized. It may come as complete shock to you, but Google, a company that started and buried dozens of new projects in last 20 years, is about to do it again. This time it will be their half-hearted venture into cloud gaming field, Google Stadia, which looks more and more like ghost ship.
Someone give this man a hug!
