Wargaming is leaving Russia and Belarus

Wargaming.net, a company behind World of Tanks and World of Warships (also World of Warplanes, but realistically who cares?) is apparently leaving Russia and Belarus.

Wargaming is leaving Russia and Belarus

This is a surprising news since Wargaming was founded in Belarus and had "main office" in Sankt Petersburg, but as usual in case of that company nothing is as simple as it seems. Their main office is in Cyprus, while their Sankt Petersburg office was practically running World of Warships.

First of all it was really surprising for their employees, who learnt just hours before announcement that they lost their jobs. Or to be more specific they most likely lost their jobs, because company will try to relocate them to Poland, Lithuania and other countries, but there is no clear information what does that mean and how it will be done.

Second surprising element of the story is that they... don’t really leave Russia or Belarus. What does that mean? They will only separate themselves from Lesta Studio, a Sankt Petersburg branch of their company. The one that was running World of Warships... I wonder how will that work.

So, in another words, they separate themselves (or rather split in two), World of Warships and World of Tanks will be available in Russia in Belarus, but (most likely) under another parent company. What does that mean for users of World of Warships and World of Tanks? Nobody knows. So... just another, usual day of Wargaming news - you think you know something, but you really don’t.

The end of WG is near?

Is Wargaming collapsing? Unfortunately no, but the situation in the company might not be as great as they want you to believe.

World of Warships CC Program has just collapsed

In a move that shocked pretty much no one, who paid attention to World of Warships in recent months, the most recognized Community Contributors for the game has just distanced themselves from Wargaming as a company and their products.

It can be assumed, that Wargaming is taking the p!ss

Yes, you could assume that after recent events Wargaming, company behind World of Tanks and World of Warships, would be more careful, but if you assumed that you clearly do not know this company for very long.

World of Warships is getting desperate

Or maybe it’s just a wishful thinking, but I got a surprising e-mail from Wargaming that made me laugh. Not with them, at them.

GPRO is at it again

Do you know that there are laws in the world? Yes, it is rather common knowledge. Meet Grand Prix Racing Online, an online game ran by people, who do not have that common knowledge.

The most bizarre idea in recent times?

Great news for all of the fans of Cheech and Chong comedy duo - now you can play as their characters in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty Warzone! And... it is hard to tell why.

Who can you trust?

Who can you trust?

Life is full of tough choices and one of the hardest ones to crack is who can you trust? In some cases the answer is pretty simple: no one.

Another rich guy goes bonkers

Another rich guy goes bonkers

Yeah, yeah, the same old story - boy inherits some money, uses his spiel to turn it into more money and then goes bonkers. How many times have you heard that one?
