City Guesser is a geography-based browser game created during lockdowns in 2020 when location guessing games were most popular. But unlike f.e. GeoGuessr, City Guesser does not use Google Street View, instead it uses videos from different places around the world and puts the player in charge of one task, and one task only - to guess the exact location where the video was taken.
Compared to other similar games, City Guesser does not allow you to change the camera angle, so you cannot simply look around for clues, zoom in on objects, which makes the game a lot harder - all you have available is the single recording, and you cannot even just pause the video.
City Guesser can be played as a single player game, but also has a multiplayer game mode (although it does not change the basic concept of the game). While the concept is interesting, the limitations of the format (no option to pause, zoom or look around) also makes it a bit less fun.

Geography game, in which you are dropped somewhere in the world in a Google street view and all you have to do is guess where the heck are you.

Casual online game centred around geography - guess flags, shapes of the countries and other details.

Geoguessr clone with one difference - it is free. Well, few differences, actually.
