A hacker forum was just hacked and some data of about 300,000 wannabe criminals were leaked. Hashtag sadface, right?
BreachForums, an infamous forum used by hackers to distribute leaked and stolen data, was... hacked, and their data was leaked. According to Bleeping Computer, the forum database was compromised and data of over 300,000 accounts was leaked.
The data contained usernames, IP addresses and some other things. Of course, those of the users who actually were hackers, were prepared for such danger and their IPs were just loopback addresses, which will not allow tracing them. But some of them were not that smart, and over 70,000 of those account will allow the users to be tracked down.
According to the hackers, who leaked the data, the whole forum was just a honeypot operation, used by the law enforcement to lure wannabe criminals, but it is hard to be certain about it. Nevertheless, it will be hard to find anyone else to shed a tear about the whole thing.

Mixed reactions to introduction of Bigmode
Quite popular youtuber videogamedunkey just announced that he has established a publishing studio called Bigmode, which will be focusing on indie productions. That announcement was met with mixed reactions, but not for some sinister reason.
And one to ruin them all - The Walking Dead
The post-apocalyptic TV series The Walking Dead was almost an instant hit - the story of Rick Grimes and other people stuck in the middle of a zombie apocalypse brought millions of fans to the AMC channel. Until one thing happened. Yup, it’s another one bad idea that irreversibly ruined a good project.
I told you so!
This news creates mixed feelings in me - I want to make a smug face and repeat "I told you so!" and at the same time I wish this news was not true. Yes, it is Stalker 2 again. Yes, it’s bad news again. No, I’m not surprised. During the Gamescom 2023 a new trailer of the title was shown and... let’s just say it wasn’t received well.
How to waste part of your life for no particular reason
No, it’s not gonna be another rant about people wasting their lives on making their own games, only to abandon them in messy state. Although, it kind of is...
