Inon Zur composer of the soundtrack for dozens of games, most noticeable among them Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Fallout New Vegas, just dropped a line in his interview that will overshadow most of his accomplishments as an artist.

In an interview for RPGSite, he was quoted saying "when Starfield released, I believe people were just not ready for it". Well, no argument there, people were expecting something much better from Bethesda. Or at least something a bit enjoyable.
But then he added "it’s a different way of looking at it, but Todd is really strong, and he said very, very lightly, «look, if you don’t like it, then you don’t like it, but this is the new thing that we’re doing, and we’re sticking to it.» He believes in his way, and it just has proven time and time again that eventually people will understand his vision." Yeah, about that, we do get the vision, it’s just the vision was not that good.
"It just takes time, and this is a common thing for all the big visionaries. Sometimes people really don’t understand them correctly, but they were strong enough to stay on-course, and Todd will stay on-course on Starfield. Starfield will eventually become something that will be legendary. I have no doubt. It’s just a matter of time." Oh, come on, you’re just making stuff up now, are you after some promotion or something?
"Todd is one of, if not the most creative and invigorating human beings in the industry". Ok, that is... a bold statement. You mean, someone who is making copies of the same game for the past 20 years is THE most creative person in the world? Press X to doubt.
"He just doesn’t stop. He always has new ideas. He always knows what he wants. He is very persuasive and has a very strong character. He will also find ways to describe what he wants without really calling it a name". Sorry, but those words can be used to describe the captain of Titanic, being stubborn is not the same as being right.
"He knows how to allow freedom of creativity on one hand, but also how to steer it to his own vision. He is a visionary. He sees things that people will start to find out years later". Well, I can believe Todd Howard allows people freedom of creativity, I can believe he knows how to inspire people, but the visionary bit... Again, their first "new" project in 20 years, turns out to be another copy of the old formula, so...
Well, Inon Zur is an accomplished composer, with dozens of projects to prove his skills in that field, but perhaps he should keep the visionary detection as a backup career.

Starfield, one of the most anticipated games of the year, had an early access premiere yesterday and so far the impressions are not that great. Again. Not again, in the sense Starfield impressions, but this is again a big game set in space, which fails to deliver.
Xbox is again on the front of news websites, and again not for reasons that would bring much hope. Phil Spencer, the CEO of Microsoft Gaming, just announced his retirement and his protégé, Sarah Bond, resigns.
Electronic Arts, a company behind one of the most popular games in history, was voted Worst Company in America by Consumerist in 2012 and 2013, also 5th most hated company in the United States by USA Today in 2018, never stops to excel in what they do. Now they brought even more misery to the world.
Today something completely different - a nostalgia piece about a game from 2015 (ancient history for some) that was not in any way a bad game, but incorporated one bad idea that ruined all the good ideas. Yes, you guessed it from the title, it is a Fallout 4 "and one to ruin them all" story.
Phasmophobia was just upgraded with Apocalypse update, which is... a good news. But at the same time made the biggest problems of the game even more visible.
When you thought that the moment Ubisoft’s shares reached the rock bottom was bad, or the moment they had to sell all of their most valuable assets to the new investors was bad, no one could predict they can sink any lower, right? Well, there was some development in that matter...
Cyberpunk 2077, a game with one of the worst premieres in modern times, just became a Game of the Year! No, you didn’t wake up in some parallel universe, although... I’m not that sure to be honest...
