Online Games Bay
Ubisoft, a company once known for their games, have published a remake of one of their better titles, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and again, poop hit the ventilation device. And yes, for the obvious reasons.

While Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was well received for updating the graphics and improving a bit some aspects of the game, there was one important change made that made the crowd go mild. Yup, microtransactions again. But no, I’m not gonna waste my time complaining that they are present in the title, I mean if no one would pay for them, Ubisoft would stop putting them into everything they touch. That bit is very much on the players, not the publishers.
But there is one type of DLCs that did draw a lot of attention lately - time savers and map packs. And they are exactly what you think they are, the ways to avoid the grind in the game. Yes, but few dollars, you can buy a magic button that removes the obstacles that were put there by some evil gremlins just to annoy you and to waste your time. Thank god, Ubisoft caught up with those gremlins and prepared a pack that will help you fight those nasty obstacles. Or something like that.
I could say this is the new low for Ubisoft, but who are we kidding? Ubisoft is a company with a long tradition of sinking lower than anyone would expect them to, this is just a tiny bump on their road to the bright future. And the sad thing is, some people will still buy those time savers, which will close the loop and create the bright future for the players. Or something like that.

Wargaming, the infamous company behind titles like World of Tanks and World of Warships announced that they are about to shut down one of their titles. And not the one you think.
Brace yourselves, the revolution is coming!
The earthquake called restructuring of a beloved company seems to come to an end. After selling a few studios, laying off over 1300 people, cancelling some upcoming titles, the CEO of Embracer Group has come up with a bold strategy for the future - he is going to make better games!
More gaming companies are going mental
Another month and another case of gaming companies trying to outbid each other who will come up with worst idea. And, oh boy, do they got good at it.
Oh Netflix, never change!
Over 6 months after introduction of Netflix Games - yes, it has happened, and don’t worry you’re not the only one that missed that - quite interesting numbers were published. Or rather one number - less than 1%.
Microsoft, how can you be so, so bad?
Microsoft just rolled out its upgrade of their AI-based tool called Copilot. Or should I say "downgrade"? Because their users are somehow unhappy with the changes that were made, and it is another example of Microsoft shooting themselves in the foot without any reason to do it.
Star Citizen will never be finished
And I’m not sure if this is a good news or a bad news. I’m not even sure if I still care.
