To no-one’s surprise another big title have just completely cyberpunked on the premiere - buggy, under-developed, remade to appeal to everyone. And ended up quickly forgotten. Yes, I mean Saints Row.

Saints Row game series returned in 2022 after 7 years of hiatus and it wasn’t exactly a glorious return. For few months now there were leaks that suggested that there might be a slight problem with the title. While original games were published in early 2000s, it was quite obvious that in order to appeal to more modern audience there will be some changes in the original formula, but I don’t think players were expected what was about to hit them.
And hit them it had indeed - instead of colourful and outrageous characters developer Volition moved into reality of... soya-drinking hipsters. Just one sentence is enough to summarize the story - few people start a criminal organization in order to pay off the student loan. I mean... That’s just heavy.
While the main characters were awful, the story was meh at best, the biggest problem with gameplay was that is was surprisingly boring and generic - a lot of quests are simple collecting pieces of a thingy and once you finish them the voice will tell you "congratulations". Unforgettable stuff.
And then there were technical problems. And when I say technical problems I mean the Cyberpunk 2077 level of problems, like glitching characters, bugs that make some quests impossible to finish, audio being stuck in a loop, characters not spawning, cars getting knocked over by just touching other cars. Of course there was a day one fix released, but it barely covered the disastrous technical state of the game.
To make things worse the developers from Volition took it to Twitter to educate the audience that it is a superb game that is misunderstood and those, who disagree are just trolls. Smart move indeed.
To no-one’s surprise the game right now has average score around 6 out of 10 and it is among the professional reviewers. The audience wasn’t that generous and the average scores are around 2 out of 10. Looks like trend started by Cyberpunk 2077 is here to stay for good.

Cyberpunk 2077, a game with one of the worst premieres in modern times, just became a Game of the Year! No, you didn’t wake up in some parallel universe, although... I’m not that sure to be honest.
CD Projekt Red announced that they work on Witcher 4! And... that’s about it. No, I forgot, we now know the title! And that is really it.
After almost 2 years of empty promises and pointless roadmaps that never materialized it looks like CD Projekt RED finally gave up on saving the dumpster fire that Cyberpunk 2077 was. I mean they put up another patch.
Or to be precise slightly better. For some users. Yes, CD Projekt Red, finally came up with patch 1.5 and... it’s still far, far, far from what was expected from the game.
We are just 3 days into the new year and already you can look with nostalgia on good old 2022, when things were simpler. No, I’m not talking about war in Ukraine, possible war over Taiwan, possible resurface of COVID-19 in China, I’m talking about... oh god, I can’t believe I’m gonna say that... Logan Paul.
While there are dozens of smaller and bigger dramas going on right now, from Twitch questionable ideas, TwitchCon, Phasmophobia discord, Mizkif suspicions, cheating in chess and many, many more, there is one that is so stupid that it is hard to ignore.
No, it’s not gonna be another "World of Warships is dead" or "WOWS is dying" article. Unfortunately, this completely broken game is alive, and it looks like with the community they have, it will be ...
Microsoft just rolled out its upgrade of their AI-based tool called Copilot. Or should I say "downgrade"? Because their users are somehow unhappy with the changes that were made, and it is another exa...
