Wargaming, the infamous company behind titles like World of Tanks and World of Warships announced that they are about to shut down one of their titles. And not the one you think.

No, it is not the World of Warplanes, which (more or less) died of natural causes years ago, it is in fact Steel Hunters. No, I haven’t heard about that one either. So what is (for now) Steel Hunters? It is a free-to-play extraction shooter in a futuristic universe, where giant mechs fight each other. Exciting isn’t?
I guess not, because about 4500 players gave this title a try on Steam premiere (in April) and by now (July) the number of peak players have dropped below 100. I know it’s easy to mock Wargaming for their predatory techniques in their games and their really, really bad decisions they made in the past few years, but closing down a new game after 3 months is impressive. And let’s not forget - it couldn’t happen to better guys than Wargaming.
To be fair, they are not the single company to failed to notice that extraction shooters market is already full to the brim, they just noticed it way too late. Unfortunately for them, it looks like people who knew what they were doing had left Wargaming years ago.

Starfield, one of the most anticipated games of the year, had an early access premiere yesterday and so far the impressions are not that great. Again. Not again, in the sense Starfield impressions, but this is again a big game set in space, which fails to deliver.
While YouTube has its fair share of problems and stupidity involved in the process of "making it better", it looks like some of the youtubers just can’t help themselves and blame YouTube for something that is... I can’t believe I’m gonna say that... not YouTube’s fault. Oh god, I’m gonna need a shower after this one.
After stumbling upon dozens of examples of people simply refuse to understand that reviews are opinions, I feel I have to take a stab at the topic.
Phasmophobia was just upgraded with Apocalypse update, which is... a good news. But at the same time made the biggest problems of the game even more visible.
Cyberpunk 2077, new game from CD Projekt Red studio, premiered on 10th December 2020 and, just like rest of the year 2020, it was a painful experience. Although after about 8 years in production developers made history, I don’t think that was the way they wanted to do it.
CD Projekt Red announced that they work on Witcher 4! And... that’s about it. No, I forgot, we now know the title! And that is really it.
Stalker 2, game under development in Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, again hits the news, and again not for particularly good reason.
I recently revisited old British sitcom called Cowboys, about inept builders taking jobs they are not qualified for, doing them as quickly and as cheaply as possible and then running away with the mon...
