Working for an evil corporation might not be fun

Electronic Arts made headlines not long ago after they sacked a lot of developers, including those involved in Battlefield 6, which was one of the best selling games of the last year. The reason? To "better align our teams around what matters most to our community"... But don’t worry, the developers will be encouraged by the fact that their former boss, EA CEO Andrew Wilson, got 38 million dollar bonus for how well their product has sell and surpassed all financial expectations.

Which brings an interesting question - who in their right mind would take a job with Electronic Arts? I mean, their poor reputation is over a decade long (they were voted the Worst Company in America in 2012 and 2013 by the consumers), why would anyone want to work for them? What was the thought process?

"I need money, so I will take the job with probably evil corporation, so they could sack me the moment I finish my job. I heard they are evil, but I’m sure it will be fine, those are just rumours spread by their customers, employees and especially former employees". The world is full of opportunities, is really making rich a-holes even richer a-holes what you want to choose as a career?

Now you have been warned by this public service announcement, if you work for companies like EA you most likely will regret it once they are done with you.
