Google finally lost their mind

Google, formerly known for their search engine, has lost its mind over the use of AI. Again. But this time is really beyond comprehension.

After consulting school administrators over access to Google AI tools for the students, the company agreed to switch them off, so the school administrators could decide themselves if and how their students would have the access to them. So far, so good. But then, out of the sudden, they switched off access to their search engine for the students, because, according to Google "search and AI are deeply integrated", so it is either all the slop or nothing at all.
Or to put it differently, you either accept all the toxic AI in your environment or you will be cut off from Google service all together. This reminds me of the word... What was it? Blackpost? Blackmessage? Nah, can’t remember right now. Anyway, it would be completely fine when it comes to grown-ups, who can choose a different search engine like Bing, DuckDuckGo or even Ecosia, but using AI as leverage against children is a completely different level of being evil.
But there is another level of stupidity in that move - Google is trying to force children to use AI by introducing them to the tools at the very young age, but what if those children will be introduced to other engines instead at the very young age? I mean, search engines like Qwant, Swisscows or Startpage. What then?
Well, taking under consideration how AI is getting more and more desperate about the money, about limitations of their products and the general atmosphere around the environmental cost of AI, is this the hill Google plans to die on? Recently they had to admit that their incomes from search engine have dropped because of AI, which caused 500 billion drop in the value of the company. Read the room, dummy, read the room.

The important skill of shutting the f*** up
It is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt of it. Could someone pass this quote to Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney?

I told you so!
This news creates mixed feelings in me - I want to make a smug face and repeat "I told you so!" and at the same time I wish this news was not true. Yes, it is Stalker 2 again. Yes, it’s bad news again. No, I’m not surprised. During the Gamescom 2023 a new trailer of the title was shown and... let’s just say it wasn’t received well.
