To nobody’s surprise GSC Game World has just postponed (again) premiere of Stalker 2. For about 7 months...
Like every self-centered a-hole, I just love to say "I told you so", so I will - I told you so in this article, this article and even in this one that, especially after Cyberpunk 2077 premiere failure, you should really take every information about new titles with pinch of salt. And I’m afraid I was absolutely right. Well, not "afraid", "smug" would be the right word.
Officially Stalker 2 will be postponed so the project could be thoroughly tested and polished, premiere was moved from 28th April to 8th December 2022. To be fair, the game originally was hinted to premiere in 2021, but who counts years when it comes to modern games, right?
To sum up - after over (at least) a year of development there is no in-game footage, there are no in-game screenshots, there are no gameplay details, the only available info refers to pre-purchase options and now the premiere was pushed back 7 months... Cyberpunk 2077, hold my beer, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
